Street Parking

Street parking is available throughout downtown, on N. 2nd Street, Strawberry Alley, Franklin Street, and nearby blocks. Street parking is FREE after 5 PM and FREE all day on Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays. For all other times, You can pay with coins or through the ParkMobile app, which includes a small convenience fee.

Enforcement Schedule:

• Tuesday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM

• Parking is free:

  • After 5 PM on weekdays

  • All day Saturday and Sunday

  • All day Monday

  • On City-observed holidays

Be sure to check signage, but most visits outside business hours are completely free.

Prefer a Garage?

The new City Parking Garage is located at Commerce Street and 1st Street and holds 587 vehicles. It accepts both ParkMobile and standard pay kiosks.

• Garage Entrance: Commerce Street

• Access: A pedestrian bridge on the second floor connects directly to Franklin Street near the Roxy Theatre —just two blocks from our main entrance at the corner of N. 2nd Street and Strawberry Alley.

• Note: The lowest level is reserved for emergency vehicles only

There is also a surface lot near the historic courthouse at 2nd and Commerce, which accepts both kiosk payments and ParkMobile.

ADA PARKING

There are three ADA-accessible parking spots located on the north side of the building, accessible from 2nd Street between The Mailroom and the Regions Bank building. These spots do not require validation and provide direct access to an ADA Accessible entrance.
